My name is Rachel. I am an Associate Missionary with a missionary group called Serving In Mission (SIM). Though the I live in the States, my ministry is a vital part of mission work, because I help "get the stories out." Thousands of missionaries are at work around the globe. But how often do you hear the stories of what God is doing through them? My ministry is to equip missionaries with the tools they need to effectively communicate these stories! This includes teaching them how to tell a story, showing them how to use a blog, and (my favorite and specialization) creating videos about their lives and work. It is an exciting ministry to be involved in! I get to meet so many different missionaries through my work, hear incredible stories of what God is doing, and above all be a part of God's advancement of His Kingdom.

SIM stands for Serving In Mission. They are an organization that facilitates missionary work around the globe, helping local churches send workers, funding, and service. I will serve with SIM as a photographer/videographer. With God's guidance and grace, I am working on my pre-field ministry, getting together my prayer support and financial support. This blog is a written, visual and audio record of my missionary work.
